Laura and Sayat Ozyilmaz (chefs whose intimidating pedigrees include Saison, Mourad, Eleven Madison Park, and Blue Hill at Stone Barns) and restauranteur John Litz (co-founder and partner of two Michelin star Lazy Bear) envisioned their Turkish inspired pop-up transformed into a prime San Francisco's Pac Heights brick and mortar location. This new 120-seat restaurant and full bar required a complete overhaul transforming the space into a bright and airy Mediterranean inspired restaurant and lounge.  ​

Kirley Architects collaborated closely with the design team in this multifaceted project driven from the start by a strong design vision from the ownership team.  The redesigned bar, anchored by a new wood-fired oven, flows seamlessly into organic bench seating in the bar lounge.  New folding window walls create an indoor outdoor seating area perfect for Sunday brunch seating and late night cocktails.  An upper lounge and private event space harkens to Santorini and the Cyclades islands in the Aegean Sea with organic arched niches made of hand formed plaster.  The highly anticipated opening surpassed expectations while creating a vibrant new community gathering spot in the ultra chic Pac Heights retail corridor.
